I was on my way home last night from my girlfriends’ house. I had just dropped her off and entered the 210 freeway west, near the 134. I was playing with the boost controller and doing short runs to make sure the settings for this chilly night air were still good. I had just merged onto the turn side for the 210 north split.. after a quick run... and hit traffic.
I inched forward through traffic and up rolls this 911 TT next to me. The guy started looking over at me and out of nowhere he revved his engine. All the lanes were merging into two lanes but after the construction zone, it opened up pretty good and was open.... anyway....

I looked over at the driver and it was some smooth clean cut homosexual looking dude in a suit, that had apparently saw me doing my runs and decided that his ***** was larger than mine. He revved at me.... and hearing those twins wind up, made me ponder the true meaning of "Honda performance", and whether they belonged in the same sentence together.

We moved toward the front of the pack and I reached down and dialed in 1 bar on the boost controller.. and gave a rev back. I might loose but I'm not going down without a fight.... He responded by revving and then flicked his ashes out the window.. (on my passenger side).... the traffic letting us go in a few seconds...

once we cleared the construction spot, we both stopped and let traffic go... EVERYONE knew what was going down, and the workers started to holler and yell and laugh... I gave him the nod and it was on.....................................

Dropped the clutch at 3k, launching most beautifully into the power band... the TT right next to me... by the end of first I was spinning pretty good and homeboy was digging in a little better..... but still there within reach. All the sudden this fkr tosses his cigarette out the window at my car....

Hell no this ain't happening.. So I hit 2nd and juggled for traction.. feathering the pedal up and down.... and gained the small lead he had back.... neck and neck top of second, I looked over.... and after he shifts to what I assume 2nd/3rd he blows me a kiss!!! I was like what the hell.... i don't think so faqboy....

Firmly planted in third, with traction.. I hit scramble.. bringing online 2 bar of boost. I quickly gained some distance on him..... we reached what seemed like light speed.. with me pulling on him enough to cut his *** off... so I hit the 4ways and moved over in front of him... reaching down and grabbing the Yellow Pages.. and staging it on top of the sunroof which was open....

I checked the target zone and let her go... Several pages ripped from my hands as the phone book left the roof... and I mashed the throttle, burying it on the floor. Boost spiked to 2.5bar since i didnt have time to setup over boost protection... and I rocketed away.. jamming into fourth gear and putting what seemed like 4 lengths on him...

I slowed around 140, only to have this guy come up next to me.. and what did I see?? A nice half torn up phone book laying on the windshield wedged down by the windshield washer arms.... the window cracked from the impact.

He started yelling profanities, something about "fkn me" or something... then started to get real brave and try to run me off the road... I checked my gas gauge quickly and the EGT, and dumped the gas pedal to the floor.. giving him the one finger salute out the roof as I pulled away....

I never did see him again, since he never pulled up next to me..

This morning I realized that in the phone book I had marked a couple honda-acura dealerships where I was gonna check out an NSX.. but I think I'll wait, they seem kinda slow in comparison...
