Default Best all season tires

I'm going to have to be getting tires sooner than i would have liked, which now doesn't allow me to get 17in rims since i barly have the money now to afford 4 new tires on my buick. My question to you guys is whats some of the best all-season tires out that that combince perfomance/handling and a decent ride comfort? i need all seaons since i live in new england and drive through rain, snow, so i need something that can perform well in those conditions as well as handle good in the turns under normal clear condtions also.

Thanks

Michael

Stock tire size is 215/60/16'*

Toyo proxes TPT. Directional tread, great all-season touring, and good bite on dry pavement. Best tires I've had.

Well, the Toyo Proxes TPT'* would be a good choice, but Mike is on a budget and lives in New England where, when the sky'* are not cloudy all day, it can also Snow alll day! And THIS winter has been brutal here in the Northeast. I personally run with Pirelli P400 Touring Tires on my H-body. They are a low noise, nice riding(comfortable), handle nice, wear well, and is Easy on the wallet(about $60 each). That said, I would NOT run these tires in the New England snow Unless there was a plow in front of me!!! I am one of the Few, The Proud, and The Brave that use Snow Tires in the winter. I would also recommend that you go to http://www.tirerack.com/index.jsp and read what other people say about some of the tires you may be interested in.

The Goodyear Regatta 2 really impressed me, they are very reasonably priced, have great traction in the wet, dry and got me through a Wisconsin winter with great performance. They wear very good and have very little road noise compared to the overpriced Eagle RSA tires that came stock on my car, if you try these I guarantee you will be impressed.
