Default 3800 LIM gasket end seals

This is the Fel-Pro LIM gasket kit for the 3800. Only question is: Why are the end seals 2 piece? It looks like all I would need is the dark blue piece, so what is the lighter blue piece for?

You have 2 different end seals. Take it back and get another kit. Looks like a screw up at the factory. The last kit I bought had blue end seal.

There are two sets of what'* in the picture. So, one of each.

Brian and I were just trying to figure out WTH the other one might be for.

Technically, they are both usable, but the blue one is a newer(better) version. So you say you have 4 end seals? Or just 2 seals?

Ok, you need to use VIN 1, which are the blue ones. My L67 kit came with the blue seals. My L36 kit came with the white ones.
