Something is missing...
Went home this weekend to check on the bonneville... here is what I found:
Something doesn't look right with this...
A closer look....
Maybe I should pop the hood....
Hrm... that could be the answer....
She'* at the shop. my mechanic got the old engine out last week, and is waiting on a supercharger gasket so he can move that onto the new engine. He is also going over both engines to make sure that I have the best of both of them on it. Noticed that the EGR location on theforward manifold is locates about 60 degrees outward, and that when you look inside the oil cap, one says this tide up and in the other is just has an arrow showing you the direction. Most of the rest looks the same.
I'm hoping that she'll be together, running, with most of the bugs worked out by the end of january, beginning of feb at the latest. I'm happy though with progress.
More pictures are here, including a couple of the supercharger. I got Rev. R.

By the way those pics look great.
I noticed some stains inside the hull. Do you have a leak or something. Make sure to ask the mechanic since he'* at it.
I don't know if you noticed but ... your right fender is cracked badly. Make sure you take a close look at it because it wasn't like that before.

Yes... the reason the engine is out is cause the previous owner had the car, the oil pressure spikes, blew the oil filter off, and then pressure dropped. This was caused by a sticking check valve in the oil pump and cause a little friend we call rod knock. Hence the engine transplant. And the fender has been addressed. The reason I was there was to drop off my new white fender, which I was going to put on myself, but the mechanic said it'd be easier to do while on the lift, so I let him. He'* an awesome mechanic, and I would recommend him to anyone in the Binghamton, NY area.
Probably will not be pick of the install and such. I'm in Rochester, NY and it is in Binghamton, 2.5 hrs away. I can ask my dad if he can take a couple, but not sure how often he'll be over there. I will however be tearing the old engine down when I am home sometime, so I will detail that with pictures when I get a chance.
Issues to address once the car is running:
Rear Shocks - Should be getting Monroe Sensatracs soon for it.
Rear Bumper - Needs replacement as it is slightly deformed (previous owner)
Front Bumper - small tear. could be fixed and repainted, unless a white SSE/Ei bumper is found for cheap.
various vents - you all know the ones that break
water leak - same puddle in the footwell everyone is having. Narrowed down to spoiler screws or sunroof drains
Only thing that needs to be done if the engine and then I will be driving it. If for some reason the engine I got craps out, then there will be a lot of stuff in the For Sale thread... but I'm not thinking about that.
Mods to come when finished:
94 ECC and Radio with gm 12 disc changer
Dual antenna, tilted 10-15 degrees rearward
intake
Flowmaster 80 series

Hrm... guess I named the topic a little deceiving...
Got a call from ym father today. New engine is resting in the vacant hole now. The supercharger gasket arrived late today (instead of wed) so that should get put on tomorrow. They still have a lot of little things to connect and flush, but might be running by the end of the week.
