Possible engine mount mod? Replacement for hockey pucks?
Last week at work we received what'* called a "Gold ball bonder", it'* for miniaturized electronics, and cost half a million dollars lol. Its pretty cool. The machine was mounted in a HUGE crate and secured to the floor of this crate with what looks EXACTLY like engine mounts, albeit slightly cruder and harder than stock ones. Certainly better than the hockey puck mod I would imagine.
Anyways, this machine weighed in at almost 4,000lbs so I know these things are capable of supporting and engine. They seem to be solid rubber, but I'm not sure. I'm wondering if they ARE actually engine mounts of some kind that were repurposed for shipping something of this size and ensuring it was vibration free (these machines are SUPER sensitive).
Anyways, I'll post some pics of it and if anyone wants to check one out, I'll send it to you if you pay shipping. I can find out from the vendor what these things are if they're useful.

The problem with the 2000+ Bonneville mount is not that the engine sit'* on the front mount, it'* that it tears it apart and with no way to limit that movement with stock or after market mounts, you have to go with the solid front mount if you want to limit the movement of the engine.
