Default What'* This Harness For?

I have No buttons next to the shifter, but i was looking under and found this, can I hook this up and make it functional to whatever it goes to? Are there more harnesses underneath (I didn't look all that closely)?

Traction on/off, Performance shift off/on, CCR ride control. All Bonnevilles have the harness regardless of whether or not they have the options installed.

The PCM is not programmed for the shift mode. It will not work.

if i hook the traction control button up, will the traction off light get falsely turned on since there is no traction control?
