would a starter from a 91 3800 series one work on my 2000 3800 series two?

Your talking about an L27 to an L36 - I really doubt it.

I think I remember jrs3800 comparing the starters between the 95 and his 91? I'm not sure if that will really help but I'll go look.

Edit- Well what I remembered was jr'* putting in a gear reduced starter, commonly found in the 92-95 */c and some 95+ n/a applications on his 91.
I saw that osg had a 95 n/a starter on his 89.
Thats all I got.
