Well,
As some of you knew, I had 'THE ADDICTION" for sale. Well, that sale came to an end this afternoon at 4:15PM CST.
'The Addiction' was sold to another Bonneville enthusiast (having owned a 1988 and 1991 SSE'*). He doesn't have internet access, so he won't be around here.
But he did get away with the following mods with his beloved 1999 SSEi:
Chrome dual/dual exhaust tips
silver/chrome painted brake drums
silver/chrome painted grille
Eurolite blue 9006 low beams
3.4" magnuson pulley (installed)
Taylor Spiro Pro wires
NGK TR55 plugs
OEM 7-band EQ Stereo
and a couple other mods.
All for the low sum of $6000.
It'* nice to have the loan and CC and dentist paid off.
Now college is my main focus (damn me for waiting for so long and now I'm on the waiting list to get into fall semester classes).
I did manage to spend a few $$$ on Ol Blue though (ceramic pads, premium rotors (premium non-slotted/non-drilled), Silverstar 9006'*, and a Everstart MAXX battery.
Tomorrow she gets the Claybar treatment, a full tank of 93 octane, and a good detailing in the cockpit, and under the hood, as well as a good K&N short ram system. And maybe some fresh plugs and a TB cleaning.
Next week the manifolds and heads from the spare engine go in for some P&P LUV. And since I decided against the chromies at Sears (SSC style 28C like the guy who Jim bought his rims from) I'll be picking up a set of chrome torque stars and have those on and when I sell the 18" Primes I'll invest that money into some nice KYB or Monroe Struts and lowering springs.
