1981 Bonneville
Hey y'all. I have a 81' bonne, 100 k miles even with a 3.8l V6 LD5. Was wondering what the specs are on that engine. I did find some specs for the 231 (pre 1978 ). I would like some information...horsepower and such on the 3.8 LD5. She'* a great ride, waiting till April to take her out.

Read this too, haha
This is everything on the standard LD5 in that article. argh. "In 1978, GM began to market the 231 as the 3.8 liter as metric engine sizes became common in the United States. The RPO Code was LD5, though California-emissions versions were called LC6. Starting in 1979, the engine was used in the front-wheel drive Buick Riviera, though still with a longitudinal mounting. Larger valves and better intake and exhaust boosted the power output for 1979." dh2
