Looking really good. The bay is really cleaning up.
As for the belt slip, how far is the tensioner back? What length belt you have right now? If the tensioner is near the end of its travel, you may need a shorter belt. If you do go with a 8 rib, count on spending about $300. I just picked up my 8 rib belt and that cost me over $60 just for the belt.

**edit** Just remembered I bought the belt from O'Reillys, I'll stop in and have them pull it up next time I'm in town.
**double edit** Just noticed in one of my pictures there is writing on the belt... must be hiding from me, I just went and looked for it!

Adding a 8 rib to yours will be a breeze. You have nothing in the way. Just change the pulleys. Then it'* just remove the harmonic balancer and install the new one. your set. NAPA has the gates belt.

You can also do it in stages. Pick up the idles and change them out when ever. Takes like 5 minuets. Then pick up the harmonic balancer when you can. You can still run the 6 rib belt without a problem. Then pick up the belt when you can.

Any idea whether the oil filter is a problem on our cars when upgrading to an 8 rib balancer? I notice ZZP has an oil neck spacer option for their balancer, wasn't sure if that'* only for the GP'*. Also, looks like I'll need a balancer puller. $320 for the entire 8 rib kit from zzp, add $20 for the oil neck spacer.

I don't think we need a spacer, but might want to ask bill to make sure. The W body is a little different from our H bodys. A balancer puller I think was about $20 at autozone. For a belt you can check at intense racing, they have a bunch of used belts for about $7 each.
