I'm excited for a little real time tuning action. So where are we road tripping to? If we're going to be driving all day may as well drive somewhere. I'm thinking Rips for some chicken!

meh, there are cheaper solutions to headers than the all mighty ZZP....Plus the ZZP headers only use the front bank for the 02 sensor reading

heck you can get SLP knock offs from Ebay for less than $200 shipped. SLP'*, Knockoff SLP'* or nothing. Myself and Bill can tell you about the problems with alllllll the other Headers. The SLP'* or the like are the best sealing and Fitting. Im running the real SLP'* with a ZZP Triple wall flex pipe, and i thats all i recommend.

one final thing. If you do get the SLP'* or the knockoffs, replace the Flex with the ZZP unit, trust me

I dunno why your car is in the shop...interesting..

Tom, straight up I'm asking you. If ZZP can't get a gasket right, do you really want headers they made?

Hehehe.. The engine isn't the only project this car has going on. It'* going to be a demo car for a couple friends of mine. Since I doubt anyone will appreciate the names, I'll put it to you this way. The audio equipment in my car is a step UP from what they put in ferrari'* etc, and we are going to make it look deserving. The replacement speakers and tweeters for the front doors alone retail at $2200 if I remember correctly, and they are absolutely not sold online, authorized retailers only, which are far and few between. The good thing about friends though, they can get you a discount here and there .

Speakers

This amp is in a whole other realm as well. I would have gone all audison with the audio, but the cheapest pair of speakers they sell start off around 5K, that'* $5000... yea.
Amp

This is the reason I haven't had a back seat for the last three months. I better quit now, I'm starting to drool again.

Like you said though, they do have some good products. I was hoping this would be one of them. Thanks for your opinion though guys, that'* what I was looking for. I'll be doing some more research into this to hopefully find the best pair of headers for my car. Any and all suggestions are appreciated as always.

The only reason I like the ZZP headers is because they seem to have the least amount of bends in the crossover, and are the same price as the SLP headers and cheaper than TOGS. It would be easy to add a v-band clamp to the crossover connection to get a perfect seal and eliminate any leaks and/or ticking. The same could be done with the connection to the downpipe so everything was easy to work with and there wouldn't be any issues with gaskets leaking.

I love fab, and making things better, all three options would need to be modified to my standards, so if they arent perfect outta the box, its just more fun for me

In that case..why not get some SLP knock offs that are running $200-$300? I have seen the $300 SSAutochromes in person and they are actually darn good copies of the SLP'*.

Watch for the primary size. You don't want smaller.

Any idea what size stock primaries are? Most of the headers I see are1-5/8" - 1-3/4". Also, I should be getting headers without the EGR since we have no testing here correct?
