Back on the road!
it'* an exciting day for me. i've been without insurance for a while now, which has caused me to park the van. it'* been parked for approximatly 2-3 months now, sitting waiting. without insurance my licence was suspended and i've been bussing myself to work. well last week i received my tax return an spent the bulk of it on getting the van back on the road.
took it for a drive today. it was exciting and a little scary. after all i haven't driven anything but a forklift in the past three months...i forgot how much it was like flying a house...
anyway i plan on taking it out to the drag strip friday after next. just to let it stretch it'* legs. central florida crew is invited to come alon if they wish, i'd love to have you...
well, just so excited i had to tell someone.

nothing major has been done to it. up until now it has been regular tune up and replacement parts (upgrades where applicable.) i still have a front end issue to clear up. i'm going to need to replace the steering rack, i've got the new one, just not the time or place to do it. then the real fun can begin.

Congratulations! If you take it to the track, don't forget to post the ticket in the At the Track forum. That'd be nice to see. And have someone take pics/video!
Can't wait to see!

i've run it before. bested 16.9 on a very hot day. 97 degrees or so. i wanted to run it in the 50-60 degree "winter" probably get it down into the 16.7 range but it'* starting to get warm again... we'll see what happens.
i've also got the SEBF '06 video floating around here. not much of me to be seen but you can hear me cruising around. i'll tell you, that thing sounds sweet.
