Air Intake
So, now that I have my dad'* Suburban, I want to do some stuff to it to help give it some more pep. I want to do a CAI for it, so far I have found a few options. The first one ( click here ) seems to be the best one. The next one ( click here ) seems to be pretty good, but no heat shield. The last one seems to be the same thing as the second one, no heatshield and all ( click here ). I'm thinking about buying the last one and then saving up for either an exhaust, or the nicer K&N CAI. Let me know what you guys think. Also, if any of you out there know about some other cheap things I can do, I am all ears.

Just make your own. Grab some cardboard, and make a template that goes down the fender [I believe it goes down the Passenger'* Fender]. Get a drier duct for the fender plumbing, then using your template you made, go to Autozone, and find an intake that fits the bend. Cutting will probably be necessary, like on the one for the Bonneville. If it goes through the fender like I think it does, you could fab up a heatshield that will hide the drier duct. Remember, use your imagination. That'* what fabrication is all about.
