Tech Info
Something needs to be done. There is so much knowledge that can be put out there, but only the Admins can add it. We all know the Admins of this site are VERY BUSY, so it seems like there is a better way to handle this. We have a treasurer, promoter, COTM leader, ect, so why not a techinfo manager? Just my thoughts and opinions, sound off and reply what you think everyone.

Thanks,
Andrew

Ya but can the gearheads add/change to the tech info section.?
I dont believe so.
Lowrider has a good point. " techinfo/ manager /moderator /admin"(pick one)
Admins have a lot on there plate to keep up with it.
not that it needs an every day upkeep but with the club growing.
it could help.

As stated, this is in the works. Techinfo will be better categorized and the format will change, also making it easier to add information.
For the time being, Techinfo submissions still come through Don and I, we submit them for Gearhead review, then we post them.
Hopefully the new format will include images hosted on this site.
The problem with Techinfo is that we HAVE to know the information is accurate beyond any doubt. Many thousands of people who are unregistered users of the site use Techinfo to work on their cars. There is a moral liability to insure that the information we provide is safe and accurate.
Patience while Techinfo is being reorganized will be the biggest help. All the Admins and Moderators are currently working on this project. We are in the brainstorming phases for the 'other stuff'. This means anything the site contains OTHER than the Forum itself. Links, Techinfo, Top-25, Chat, Registry, the BC store, and other suggestions for additions.
After this, we move to Forum upgrades.
