oh and SSE1990 I fully agree with you on the post count, I am not complaining about rankings at all, and i never have in the past...and i hope everyone understands this......someone can just post crap, and not really have good info. I was just using the post count as a reference as to my participation and involvement in the board

Why am I an LG3?. I dont get any respect with a title like that.

/back to post whoring.

btw 1993 SLE, to be a mod on a forum usually you need to be a fairly mellow person, I have admistered a few forums over the years and mods I have chosen have always been the ones that were "quiet". no offense or anything but being a mod is not that great, hell being an administrator is a crappy job in itself (no offense bill) but I always had/have people bitching at me why this why that.

Folks.... post count has almost NOTHING to do with respect.... understand that.

It'* quality over quantity.......
Don't just post for the sake of posting... choose your posts and words carefully.
Sometimes the best thing to say is nothing at all..... I've learned that.

As for COTM.... there'* a lot of thought and process that goes into it.
I take my time and consult with the mods/admins..... it'* not just the car or the person.... but the work effort.... and how the person and/or their car has contributed to the club and/or inspired others. Also getting a good balance of trims and years is hard too.....
All I can say is I try my best, and the mods/admins help out, esp when I need some people to bounce ideas off. Nominations also go a long way.... I get several per month... and it certainly helps.
