The owner wants to do this, see'* it'* value. But not something he wants to rush into. He and His IT will be looking at all the alternatives and what vB has in the immediate horizon. Yes, free is never free and Tapatalk just may be the outcome. I fielded it to them and got a favorable response with some concerns they need to look into. All I can really say with certainty.

Good to hear there'* a little bit of progress. Not being able to easily browse GM Forum from the car (when parked, of course) is a bit ironic.
If the owners go through with this, then here'* an idea to build support for it and potentially earn more donation money: Give the highest tier of supporters another perk. Profit margins permitting, we could gift a copy of Tapatalk to every Level 3 Supporter to sweeten the deal, and get new donators to chip in that extra $10.
I know that the iTunes App Store allows gifting apps, but I'm not sure about the other platforms' stores.
Disclaimer: I'm already upgrading to a Level 3 membership when it'* time to renew, Tapatalk or not.

I just started using it for w-body.com. It'* pretty awesome on the Android platform. MUCH faster than the mobile version of both vBulletin and SMF, more easy to manage, and easy to browse as well.
