this board format probably does not have search for new posts option

within 24 hours or since last login is the next best thing or the only thing probably in this case

For anyone that'* using firefox, there is an extension called session manager that will save the last session if there is a browser lock up or you can manually save a session

Download the extension and install it before logging in,then log in and save the session and close the browser ......trust me

I doubt any time will be invested in hacking our phpBB setup. More info on that will come in due time, but it'* probably safe to say we can just let this one die now.

I think I found a way around this. So tell me if you think this idea will work. I register a second identity on this site, say as Pontiholic2. I use the same password as my original, only with a 2 at the end of it. Now if I log in with the "backup" identity, I make sure that I do not check the box for "automaticly log me in on this computer". I use my original login as normal. Then if I screw up and exit before I view all "new posts since last log in", I just log out and then back in with my second identity and password. This gives me a second chance to view the new posts since I last logged in with my second identity. If I screw up again, then I deserve it!
Before we all try this, could this cause any problems with the sites server? Would the extra identities slow it down in any way? If yes then go ahead and remove this "reply" and I'll get the message.
