Default street racing

This is an honest question.
Why are stories about street racing not allowed? Yes, I know that it is illegal. But so
is unhooking emission controls for instance; and this could be discussed. Is it a libality
issue?

Because there are too many idiots claiming BS crap, too many members screaming BS, and too many close calls from young drivers pulling stupid stunts when they see someone else do it. Not to mention the number of idiots have been BUSTED legally for posting their racing stories on the internet.

And as far as the posting of emissions, you'll find 99% of this forum disagrees with that. Any AMERICAN (as opposed to Canadian) that posts such, is strongly discouraged. Anyone that post something like a cat delete is a fool, as I can get $250 from the EPA for turning them in.

Moving to Suggestions for you.

I have to resent that comment.. my hollowed out cat did it on its own from swimming.. hot cat and cold water don't mix.

I agree with Bill.. it got out of hand with B.*. stories and people calling B.*. and it gets worse.

Racing stories start to change forums. It goes from an informative source of knowledge and ideas to a contest of who has the fastest, coolest story and all that stuff. Peoples attitudes change and the site goes downhill.

Makes sense. Go to forums of cars not 13 second stock and a lot of "flaming" for kill stories go on and the attitudes are really bad.

If you were here, you'd understand. It was bad.

Also, many of us still live in parts of the US where there are little to no emissions laws, but street racing is illegal everywhere.

But, just like Bill said, even those of us that live in non-emissions places still will strongly suggest that they use proper cats and mufflers.

yes. as a matter of fact, i frequent a forum that allows street racing still, and they are at eachothers throats right now <like, i wish i could start my own forum bad>. prolly suggest to them to dump street racing board, like BC did. we are really able to get along without it, infact we have thrived without it. i would prefer to continue living without it its not like i have racing material anyway

This is untrue. ALL 50 states abide by federal EPA laws. It'* illegal to run without a cat anywhere in the US, and in parts of Canada.
