A few of our members have made successful attempts at creating chat rooms for Bonnevilleclub users. Do any of you think its a good idea to post a link or create forum to the chatrooms

Or does that defeat the purpose of Bonnevilleclub Forums?

I prefer the forum. Chats never give enough time to formulate knowledgeable questions and answers. To much small talk.

Agreed, but its a nice option to have if made available. I use it, I'm sure a lot of people would to. I've made friends thru this forum and the chat allows for that necessary small talk.

Ya, the forum is good if you have car related stuff or something you want to share with everyone. The chat room is good to just kick back and type.

i agree, the forum is good for car specific help and such, and the chat room is just to relax and chat about whatever (and solve car probs if they ever arise)

OK.. so we all agree on what the chat room is for.. but I for one wouldn't mind a quick link to it for when we are bored of feel sociable and want to get into small chats and such. So a quick link would definitely help.. specially for newer members who may not have seen the post

All I know is that we've had a Mirc room for a while, it was used at the beggining then later abandoned, these new ones I assume will later be treated to the same fate I fear. :?

Yea.. but at least give it a shot.. if you first don't succeed try try again.. it'* still an option.. if it fails.. o well.. it was good while it lasted.. maybe it'll be more active with more users joinin in each day.. worth a shot

i think it would be a good idea, alot of ppl dont even know there are chats, i for one have been in one once and i dont even remember how i got there.so posting some links would be very helpful.
