Default Old useless topics

Okay I know the site has been going through some financial difficulties, if not for the cost of Bandwidth, the upgrade for space to hold all of our posts.

I see allot of useless posts that go on about nothing.......I know that old posts are being saved to search through or there may even be a reason that I don’t really know, but why not delete and get rid of the useless posts that don’t offer up any tech info or help regarding the Bonneville? Maybe there would be a date timeline in which to purge these threads and save some space for more helpful ones.

Just a thought on how to save some costs. Is it viable?

while it wouldnt be time efficent to read through each post to see whats good info and whats bad info, its not a bad concept in the lounge..

currently there are 18799 lounge TOPICS and 235,510 POSTS... i think it would be safe to say we could delete anything after 2005 from the lounge...

or at least delete locked topics that were double posted, or locked for wacky reasons like people bashing each other and whatnot

Storage space is cheap. Bandwidth is what costs.

I sort of knew that, but I was thinking that every little bit would help. Especially with how many pages get burned up here each day lol.

It'* a sense of pride in knowing every single topic or post ever created is still preserved here and searchable.
