if there isn't already I think it would be cool to have an invite set up.

As in??? Like a "FaceBook" invite button?

I like the idea. Looking into a couple vB plugins. BBL with feasibility of it.

Sorry lost the thread activity. On a forum I'm on the is a place to put an email and message ,then the site sends a formal invite.

What forum and what software do they run? PHP or vB?

Invite plugin is up and appears stable and working. You will find it at the top of your User Control Panel and 4 down on the quick links. Just add a friends email addy and the Forum will send them an invite in your name........YW. :D

Yep, it's called Purgatory. ROFL! I found a old feature that sounds almost as fun as our Miserable Usergroup. It's a form of global ignore. They can post as much as they want, and they can see it...... but nobody else can. How long do you suppose it would take before said person felt "dis-invited" hehehe.

That is an awesome idea. I can see that getting abused.
