If you find a thread thats a year old or 6 months old... Please do not drag that said thread out of its GRAVE and dust off its bones...

If the thread has to do with parts or something that is for sale and the thread is not CURRENT, Please start a new thread...

We have and still are chasing and locking threads that are well over 2 years old at times..

If you have any questions about a thread that you have found that died and was put to rest a long time ago Please start a new thread and post your question with a possible link to the thread, as some info may have changed and we all may have better knowledge about the issues than we did, say 2 years ago...

Thank You,

Don Blackwell

I'm not sure if this was ever suggested, but couldn't posts that are more than 6 months or a year old go into an archived folder. Searches could still be done in the archived area as well as current posts.

Our current software only allows for forum pruning, to delete topics that are x age old. It can be selective for a particular section, but for our purposes, pruning would be a bad thing.
