Garage / Service Center recommendations

I was wondering if a new section or sticky could be started with a comprehensive, member approved place to take your car in for service.
Sometimes we run into problems that are a little over our heads, and are in need an expert.
So, a geographic location of garages members received good to great service from might be an idea, should another member living near that area be in need.

Details of your experience could be recorded, and it would be fun to make the garage BC approved (maybe bring them a decal for their front door!)

I can start:
Mufflerman Niagara Falls, Ontario, Mc Leod Road
Fixed my trans line, tie rods, alignment, rear wheel cylinders and replaced my cat converter within a morning. Service was friendly and the price was 1/2 of what another garage quoted for similar work. The parts came with a great guarantee too.
Thanks Mufflerman!

If you have a good experience with a place maybe post it in your specific region thread??? I dont think BC approved garages would be a good thing to have. IMO post your experience along with the name and let others decide to go there or not. We now sorta do stuff with the internet businesses which I think is good.

Although, If the garage did me good, I would give them a sticker either way.

Not neccesarily BC approved, but some members may not have a mechanic they trust or know, so a comprehensive geographic list of garages with members personal experience might be helpful for those of in need of a pro.

I know everyone's experiences may vary. I might have a postitive one, but another customer may have a negative. But at least it would be a place for a member to look when considering an automotive technician.

I agree, this may be an interesting thing to start up.
