It wasn't really Hector and I. We generally follow requests.


The new Gatherings sections were Drifter'* idea.
The Vendor forum was Hectors, maybe borrowed from BA. I don't know..
The audio forum was specifically requested by a member.
The brainstorming forum was an idea Hector and I came up with. It didn't even occur
to us that it was similar to something on BA.

What it boils down to is that both sites will have what the members request or need. That means they WILL be similar.

Most likely from members that visit BOTH sites then!

I don't think it really matters where ideas came from. What matters is people get what they want and need. The more we talk about this, the more people will get defensive, and the hotter this topic will become.

There are ideas on both sites that were borrowed from various places. There are other parts that look like they were borrowed, but actually might not be.

If someone asks Jeff, Hector, or myself to add another section, and if it makes sense (without cluttering the board) it'll probably happen. I could care less if he saw it on ClubGP or a Mustang forum, or just dreamed about it the night before.

We need to stop pointing fingers.
Both sites are a benefit to each other.

Yikes, this seems to have reopened a sore wound. Let'* just say that good ideas spread, that BA and BC have different focuses and different administration ideologies, and that infighting just makes everybody look bad.
