Supercharger boost!!!
Hi there I am new to these forums!!
So here is my problem. I have a 1997 Bonneville SSEI supercharged. It is 100% stock with factory recommended tune up parts. I run full synthetic oil and also 91 octane gas. I have changed the supercharger oil with the stuff from the dealer.
So now my problem. Whenever I got WOT my car doesn't make boost. Even off the line I can go WOT and it will only hit 0 on my gauge (factory gauge). So my question is how do I make boost now? If I am on the highway and I start pressing the accelerator slowly I will make boost, but I don't make boost if I go WOT or any other time. What is my problem here.
Thanks

Pull the vac line off the BCA (black cylinder on front of SC) bottom port. If your boost comes back, scan for KR or the Boost cycle to be less than 100%. If it stays at 100% or there'* no KR, replace the BCS (black box conneted by vacuum line to bottom of BCA). If you have KR, figure out why.
If the boost doesn't come back, check for vacuum leaks in or around the BCA.

fixed it It was a stick actuator. I took the actuator off and used some WD-40 to work the spring. I then put some light oil in the actuator and she works like a charm. Thanks for all your guys help!!!
