Why can I not get boost out of my supercharger????

Guys, I need to say that I love driving this car but it has become a real moving piece of crap. In the two years that I have owned her, both rear window regulators have died at $400 a piece to fix, the trunk leaks water unbelievably, both FRONT windows work only intermittently at best (the dealer cannot tell me why), AND NOW my supercharger will not make boost!

Why can I not get boost? Even when I floor it from a stand-still, it will not go into positive pressure. What is causing this? I am not getting a MIL light so I have no idea what is going on...!

Please, please, please someone tell me that this is a common and easy fix to remedy. I am getting so sick of these problems with this car.

Thanks in advance.

Assuming the belt is on and the supercharger is being turned by the belt. Check all the vacuum connections going to the boost control actuator and soleniod. These are located on the front right of the motor, just left of the thermostat housing.

If both of those are intact the next test would be to try the boost bypass trick, this should not be used as a long term fix. Only do this for testing. I'm not sure how to do this and will ask others that have.

Here is the discussion on it. It contains the link to the site that explains it.

Well, I feel like a dumbass. The supercharger belt has slung off.

HOW THE HELL CAN THAT HAPPEN??? The belt itself looks to be fine. The idler pulley seems to be stuck in the up position though.

Does this happen often?

the tensioner will go into the up postion if the belt breaks free. make sure all your other pulleys turn by hand..Since that belt came off, I would defintatly replace it
