What's a GEN V got over a GEN III M62?
I just found a set of GEN V M62 rotors FS and was wondering if anyone has any info on the GEN V M62 to compare to the GEN III, which is what came stock on 94/95 L67's.
Thanks in advance! |
No difference in the rotor assembly that I'm aware of. Inlet porting is different (causes potential problems with your TB, and the case is machined to tighter tolerances. Mostly the inlet port between the TB and the rotor chamber.

Basically the same differences as a Gen III M90 to a Gen V M90. abration coating on the rotors, better outlet porting, rotors are offset from plate, straight inlet.

What's an abration coating? I'd assume the cases are just plain unswappable.

If they are the same as the GEN III which I currently have then they are WAY over priced at $500 for just the rotors. |
