dry nitrous injection
Has anybody tried dry nitrous injection on L67'*? I would think that not only would the nitrous make more power in the cylinder, but it would also cool the intake air. I'm only thinkin' 40-50 horse shot, but I don't know. Any ideas?

Talk to DrJay and Allmachtige. They're pretty much the most experienced with Nitrous here, but neither use it any more. It'* not really a favored form of making power around here.

With an L67 use a dry shot unless you are doing direct port injection, which would need to be a custom setup.
Dry shot would be doable on an L67, but watch the MAF. Granted I blew many dry runs across my L27'* MAF and it never went, but I'm sure it didn't help. So you may wanna go with a TB spacer and inject after the whole TB to be safe. I'm not sure what damage, if any, a dry shot would do to the protective coating on the SC rotors though.

I have been looking at this for a while myself.
Over at clubgp there are growing number who are using a dry system converted to wet. It gives the the spray more of a fog effect and they blow it across the maf with no problems? They are running stock timing with bigger injectors and fuel pump, no other changes needed.
I would caution the use of nitrous and a blower however, in many cases you have to UP size your pulley to reduce knock. That kinda defeats the whole purpose in my mind?
Nosiles or noziles dont fit well in an L67 I've read, many cracks reported and blown hoses off (fuel and nos ). Problem comes from the close proximity to the injector ports and valve covers.

Nitrous is generally safe and a whole lot of fun, but it needs to be respected. If your engine is in excellent shape and you have all your safety measures in place, go for it. But one clogged injector will quickly show you how unforgiving it can be....not to scare ya or anything
