Default BCA and BCS Vac line connections...?

I looked at my vac lines for the BCA and BCS...I found a post with no cap and no line above the line going to the right side of the BCS - (looking at it from in front of the car.)Does any know if it should have a cap on it or should it be hooked to something? I appreciate any help as the diagram on the hood shows nuthin'. AND I don't have a camera to talke a pic - I'm very sorry.

Default

That'* the vent. It originally had a piece of foam as a filter. Leave it open.
