Default got my new boost control solenoid today

and just put it in, and went for a test drive.

yup my old one was definately bad. with all the lines hooked up i can get about 8lbs max, and with the one hose disconnected, i can get 9lbs max

i know some of you run with yours disconnected, is it bad? i started reading up on that post about it, but it got way over my head. i woud like to run at 9lbs, but if its going to wreck anything i dont

this is my previous post about it

Ok, if you wanna do the "boost bypass" alls you have to do is disconnect that v shaped vaccum line from the bottom of the waste gate actuator wich is located to the right of the bcs and below the waste gate actuator and either plug the end you disconnected or take that little piece of foam off of the bcs on the same side and put the end of the vaccum line you disconnected on there, hope this helps...... let me know how it goes.

Leave the boost solenoid alone. If you want more boost swap out the pulley, and now that the sc is making proper boost its a good inexpensive mod.
The boost solenoid bypass trick is good for drag race day then put it back to normal. At high rpm (near red line) and cruising the highway you want the sc to dump and save the added pressure from hurting anything.....imo
