Supercharge a non superchared Bonneville

I was just curious if you could put a vortech supercharger on my Bonneville and what would I have to upgrade to do this and a ballpark price of everything done.

You'd be better off to either buy an SSEi, or do an L67 swap.
I don't think a vortech would be easily installed into a Bonneville.

Another option would be a turbo....

You have a 92. There's almost nothing you within reason can do besides an engine swap or turbo. But you will pay big $$$$$

Yes you can. No one on this club has done a csc yet but the latest information out there is, it can be done.
How much? This will depend on you and how well you can put together a hodge podge of parts and build custom brackets etc. So low end $2000, high end $???

macho_mike21 06-07-2005 08:42 PM

high end is probably $5000 assuming the SC doesnt break anything.

Well lloking at all the work involved and the cost that is a no. If anybody knows where I can find a wrecked SSEi for a decent price that would be great. I would no pay anymore than $1500 for whole car. Must have computer.
