Default Maximum stock boost

What is maximum boost a stock SII L67 will make?

The other day, I swear I hit 9.8 lbs of boost in the GS. Since the guage is digital, it'* easy to read the concise measurement. For some reason, I just don't think that'* possible in my 100% stock setup. Who knows - maybe the guage isn't calibrated right.

What was the temperature outside? Cold I bet. Denser air. You'll see less boost on a hot, humid day. Typical boost on a stock S2 should be in the 7.5-8 range IIRC. Yours seems a bit high even for cold weather.

Must be a Regal thing.

My buddy has a 99 GSE that he once saw hit 11.2psi in cold weather. Stock Pulley. It'* called boost stacking.

ya on a Scan of my SSEI, i hit 8+ on a 65* night when the stock pulley was on...so with the cool weather 9.8 is not out or the question...plus it was on a downshift

the gauge i had on my 93 L67 when in my grand prix was consistantly aroun 8-9. that was about 60-70 feg weather too.

but i believe my boost # can be contributed to an inaccurate $20 gauge.

It is probably a W-body boost stacking thing because of the U-bend.
