Default How to read plugs...

How do I read spark plugs? I just put in some Autolite 5245'*. My iridiums I took out were sooty around the edge, with a definate line where the outer electrode meets the edge, then they were yellowish/pinkish on both electrodes and the ceramic at the base of the center 'trode was yellowed. A couple had some yellowish "crust" around the edges with the sootiness.

I replaced my stock NGKs in my 99 SSEi over the weekend, they looked great. I replaced them with the AC branded NGKs. Part number 41-101 of any one needs it.

I also replaced the stock 41-921'* in my dads 96 Ultra this weekend. They also looked normal, great to see both 3800 */C'* are running great!

By that chart, I would have to go with normal. Good...
