Default Supercharger oil filler plug lost

Hi, I was checking the SC oil level in my 97 SSEi yesterday and went to put the plug back in and dropped the dam thing and despite spending more than 3 hours poking around removing stuff, etc etc I can't find it. Does anyone have specs on this plug (diameter, thread count) etc. Being a long weekend in Alberta all the parts shops are closed and I really need the car running on tuesday. Hoping I can substitute just a normal bolt to get me through Tuesday...

Thanks!

It'* not a standard thread. Nor is it a tapered pipe thread. It has an o-ring to seal. Only the OEM plug will work right.

The GM part number is:

24500661

Or you can order a magnetic plug from www.canadiansupercharger.com but it will require removal of the nosedrive, and drilling/tapping for a fit.

I installed one on Chadow427'* M90 last month during his porting/polishing/rebuilding.

I'll move your topic to the right section for you. Please keep all supercharger-related topics in Forced Induction.
