CR7965 nitrile rubber nose oil seal longevity?
If any of you have replaced the nose oil seal in your supercharger and used a CR7965 (single-lipped nitrile rubber), I'm curious to know how long the seal has lasted.
I rebuilt one of my spare superchargers a couple of years ago, and I used a CR7965 because other people at that time reported that they had used that seal. I later learned about Viton and used that seal instead in the superchargers on my vehicles, but the rebuilt spare has been sitting in the garage waiting for a rainy day, and that rainy day has come.

I'm currently very interested in the longevity of the nitirile single-lipped version, though, because if that new seal will work for several years, I don't see a need to replace it now, before I put the spare supercharger into service.
