part numbers?? Boost control solienoid & sc outlet gaske
 

i went to the dealer today (even a pontiac dealer) and they weren't sure what the boost control solonoid for a 93 ssei was. the thought they had it, but that was a 300ish dollar part, so i dont think that was it. the one we thought it might be was

#12353309 casting DR217 (valve kit)

and the supercharger outlet gasket (for replacing the coupler) #12480246

can anyone confirm or let me know the #'s???

thanks, you dont happen to have a part number do you? otherwise i think ill disconnect it and bring it down there, they couldn't find it before and told me to get a part number.

Shoulda asked on like thursday when it was sitting on the floor of my car lol...I don't have a p/n off it. It's in the dealer's system as like a "Valve kit" or some stupid like that.

Do a search on "BCS BCA" and click 'all terms' and select 'forced induction'.

You also need 2 yellow coolant bypass o-rings and probably a fuel injector o-ring kit at the least.

A TB gasket would be another good idea.

Are you merely changing the coupler and fixing a bad BCS or pulling the SC off?

That's a VERY good question.....and the only reason I suggested the TB gasket is that this is a prime time to clean it.

I actually have all the gaskets for both cars in one of my trunks (forget which one). I can dig 'em out today later maybe.

yeah, im mainly chaging the coupler and the bcs.

Ok. for the coupler change hit up a dealer to get a small tube of the red gasket maker from GM. Willwren and I spoke in detail previously about using other gasket makers and the properties of SC oil. GM stuff is made properly for it.

Otherwise to do the coupler and BCS you shouldn't need any other gaskets.

He's a series1, and must pull the SC to do it.

So he needs the outlet gasket, 2 yellow o-rings, and gasket maker bare minimum.

TB gasket and fuel injector o-rings strongly suggested.
