12'* possible without gas?
My previous rides have been (9C1'*) (impala SS)my wife "aquired my car"when i went with my 93 SSEI,I had the car for 4 years and did all the stuff needed to make that "one ton lt1" move-but now she is rubbing my face in it! 
its time for me to take off the gloves and throw down 
I understand that the pulley boys 2.00 is the way to go,but ive also seen quite a bit on the SC needing rebuilding,Im just now breaking in a new motor on the bonne-but she wants a "test"once im ready to go-i would really like to give her a run for her money- My old car was running mid 12'*(with the back seat out)and im just trying to take the safe-most proven route.the bonne has only 85,000 on it and the 9c1 has 179,000(but you would never be able to tell)I have about 2 months before i get the milage right So i need to do some work but do not want todo GAS

Our cars need to breathe better. A highflow exhaust and a good CAI will help alot. 2.0 pully, plugs, wires, chip, ignition module will all help out too. To get in the 12'* you will probably need to go with the "gas" or at least a fairly descent engine parts upgrade including the SC. I think our more heavily modded members are running in the 13'* somewhere.
Check out the links page for vendors who offer parts for the Bonneville and the 3800. They may be able to help out with ideas on what can be done to these engines. ADTR and Domestic Performance will be your best bets since they are catering to the Bonneville market specificaly.

yes you can dip into the 12`* with a good modded SC motor without the N20..........waiting for our track up here to open 
i know i`ll be some where in the low12`* hi 11`* according to the boys in the speed shop...we`ll see if the 3.79 gearing helps ( +200 shot of N20 helps )

unless you are ready to spend some serious cash i really think 12 * without nitous is pushing it. the biggest problem is hooking it all up. i have a 2.0" pulley and it is giving me over 15 psi of boost max. my g tech showed that i have 256 hp at the wheels. but the car with me in it is almost 3800 lbs. i know the impala is close 4400 , but you get the weight transfer to the powered wheels.ours lifts it off of them.im pushing for low 14 * maybe high 13 * if im lucky.air flow is the key here. but make sure that is you go with a 2" pulley , upgrade your injectors. with all that air flow, you need more fuel too.

Without some major custom work, you won't see the times you want. Not on a Series 1, anyway. Do an AWD conversion to help you hook up, then do all the other stuff mentioned here. You might take her from a rolling start, but off the line is gonna be tough against that MC.

they do make drag radials that are street legal. myself , i have pirelli p6000 tires. 255/40zr17. the tread wear is 180 and they are super soft. the lower the tread wear, the softer the tire is.make sure when you do this, to go to the track ok. first you can heat up your tires and make them stick in the water box, second, almost every trak uses VHT traction enhancer to make the stick better. plus the launch pad is concrete and holds the tires alot better than blacktop

i use the BFG Drag Radials.........soft....hookup sweet.....and street legal ..DOT approved....anything is possible with the right amount of

did someone say there was an AWD conversion for the bonnie? WOW! that would be the tightest thing. i had trouble hooking it up today when i was playing with a V-8 *-10 pickup.
