Default Gen 2 (92/93 year) Supercharger on 1995 SSEi (Gen3) Series1

I 'm in process of replacing supercharger.
Will 1992 year supercharger work without aproblem on 1995?
There seems not a big diff besides size of pulley.
Will throttle body fit?
Any other issues?

Thanks for answering

Yes. There will be issues.

Throttle body sizes are completely different. MAF settings are completely different too. Not to mention the TB bracket.

The Gen 2 charger is smaller internally than the Gen 3, so there will be a huge change in airflow capacity. You will run pig rich with little to no way of tuning it out.

In other words...don't do it.

EDIT - just exactly what is wrong with the charger you have now?? Unless it is completely trashed and internally fragged, they can be completely rebuilt.

didn't you say it was only the nosedrive was damaged? bc the nose drives are interchangable between the gen 2 and gen 3.

Pulley literally hanging from supercharger. It'* like there is no bearing in there so pulley can't stay strait and firm. It was loud gringing sound for a while and then while driving belt slipped ,there is a lot of shavings under a pulley on engine block ,as I said pulley is completly lose, everything in SC oil (means sealer is out too).
I'm not sure I can put new bearing because saddle for new bearing can be damaged when that shaving occured.

Yes,I think it'* only nosedrive damaged, but I don't see any nosedrive for sale (besides canadiansupercharger with astronomical prices) and I can buy whole supercharger.

The guy I bought accessory bracket from aweek ago has a 1992 supercharger too.
He gave me very good price on bracket so I hope supercharger price will be fair too

I also posted in "Wanted" forum .No replies so far.

if he wants more than $100, think twice.

if possible, i would take off the pulley, that way you can get a good look to see if the end seal is not leaking. unless you plan on rebuilding it, then it doesn't matter.

As stated above, only the nosedrive is compatible, and it may not be in great shape considering the age.

SamuelJackson
I don't need to take a pulley to see if seal isn't leaking .
Everything under pulley is covered with SC oil.
Terrible smell
I probably didn't describe it properly but pulley with a coupler'* rod seems disconnected from rotors.
It feels like that rod is brocken on half and you have pulley on other half just hanging and the only thing that prevent it from pulling out of SC is some pieces of bearing left in saddle(well maybe there is more than few pieses).
Allmost all oil is out.
If I would take pulley out I could probably stuck a screwdriver inside SC where a sealant is/was.
I will be taking it out on Tuesday .
Hope no damage to other parts.
