magnuson nose drive
I have read alot of information about the magnuson nose drive ( found on the grand prix store web site) and was wondering if anyone has this installed on their car, or if anyone knows any hidden secrets about it. As far as I understand it, the pulleys are keyed so you can change pulleys sizes any time you want in a couple of minutes. This seems like a good idea to me.

In my opinion that goes under the "gimmick" category.
Once you have downsized to a smaller pulley, why in the heck would you want to change back?
And if you did, would you really care that taking it back off takes a little longer than a few minutes? Sounds like a great excuse to tip a few pints and get under the hood of the car to me!

the keyed snout is grate!
i have an 01 ssei with the magnouson snout and the pulley changes are like cuttin cake. think about it this way the keyed system has on 3/4 nut on the snout the modular systems have 4 to 5 hex bolts do the math change one nut or 5 bolts. the only down fall to the keyed snout is the pulleys r a little more expensive but i have had the modular kit and the pulleys tend to slip when u go below a 3/4 south florida pulley sells the none slip pulleys and the work like a charm! i have the 3/4 set up and a 3.0 the 3.0 is just a lil to small for my current mods though. im my opinon the keyed snout is the way to go!
