I got it to work, for some reason the first time I tried it did not work. Its Hawkeyes and ya right now they do suck!! Thanks for the help,I will report back...Tim

Got it done, everything went smoothly,it was not as bad as I thought.I pressed it while spinning it as in the video.I also made sure to press it back to the same clearance to the bearings on the inside.I used a small amount of penetrating lube on the bearings and in the nosedrive bearing seats.I used three different sockets, two that fit the outer bearing races(inner and outer)and one that fit inbetween the coupler pins.

I did the needle bearings also, they had a fitting at work that was perfect and all I had to do was drill and tap the access holes. They slid out within three pumps of the greese gun.The toughest part was seeing down in the case to line everything up to press, and cleaning up all the greese out of the case. Thanks Willwren for your encouragement and advice.

Now to put this back on the car and hopefully begin my MOD post soon! Tim

I got her all back together today. It started on the first try.It sounds alot better now,and runs really good so far.I listened to the supercharger with a scewdriver on it and it sounds like it is functioning great.I am going to flush the coolant system and go over the electrical conections just to be safe.

How often do you need to check,,change the supercharger oil? Tim

Well done, Padwan.

I do supercharger oil once a year. That's overkill. (of course, I'm actually doing it more often than that considering how often I swap them around between the two cars now).

Ok once a year is not too bad.I remember you wrote somewhere that the nosedrive could leak a little from the seal until it seats properly.I guess this means I should check the fluid level some time soon?I have not seen any leaking yet. Tim

Check it in a week, and again in a month. Top it off to the bottom of the threads. SC oil will be obvious on the nosedrive IF it leaks.

Will do.What a difference in throttle responce compared to my SE.I am going to enjoy driving this car.People won't be blowing by me at stop lights to cut in front of me anymore!LMAO  Thanks Will,,,Tim
