Supercharger Problem (pressure where sc oil is)
Ok... here'* my problem. As some of you know i replaced my coupler about a month ago. I'm driving home today and i hear this whining. High pitched but sounds like a sc whine. (if any of you have ever seen the GTP street video where the GTP kills the car in which the driver says "my mom use to drive a grand prix") That'* the best why i can describe it. I get it home.. and i go to check my supercharge oil level.. expecting to have a leak, and have to put more in. Wrong. I open the screw, and it'* pressurised.... spirts a burst of oil out at me. The SC fluid is also really dirty. I suck some fluid out put the screw in and start the car and it sounds fine.. Anyone know what'* wrong?
A few more things about my symptoms.... The first thing was right when i left today... the car felt like it missed 2 times withing a period of 3 mins. It was a hard miss a chung, and i was at about half throttle. I was driving down the road be for i noticed the whine, and i went off the line to WOT, i was only doing about 45 miles an hour and the thing reved up to 5K, and didn't shift.... I let off the throttle and it went down to about 4k and shifted to the next gear. Wasn't accelerating as fast as i should have, the bood was fine. i had about 9lbs.

It'* normal for the supercharger oil to be pressurized if it'* been driven for a while and is hot. The temperature can go as high as 200 F. Heat expands.
Mine will sometimes blow a little oil out of the vent in the center of the SC pulley.
The heat will also cause the PCM to pull timing and you will feel a slight loss in power.

That seems completely normal to me. And getting oil spit at you teaches you for taking the screw off when the engine/supercharger were warm!!! When we got the coupler replaced on the GTP it did that high pitched whining for about a week until we changed the supercharger oil again (which we changed when we put the new snout on (the reason the couple was new)), the oil was really dirty and was only a week old. We changed that and the noise stopped and the oil is still clean a few thousand miles later.
