Moved to Forced Induction.
The BCS bypass should only be done as a troubleshooting step. It removes the ability of the PCM to dump boost when necessary. While this is obviously bad for fuel mileage, it can damage your engine at a critical time (WOT, running lean).
The BCA trick rotates the BCA as far as it'* bracket will allow in one direction, allowing you to get into boost quicker on WOT. It doesn't add power.
