Nose Drive Problems? Video Added
I have not changed the oil in the Supercharger since I put the car back on the road, however, I will be doing so tomorrow.
But, here is what it is doing that makes me think trouble.
There is an audible grinding sound (light gringing sound) and some clicking coming from the rotor plate area, or so I can tell with a screw driver used as a stethascope. I removed the belt and turned the pulley by hand, no play in the supercharger, and nothing is binding up whatsoever. It almost makes the noise of a failing waterpump, when the pulley starts to vibrate back and fourth.
Odd.
?

Nope, I sealed them puppies off VERY well, then added a bit of new grease to them...Supercharger has just started making this noise....doesn't appear to be coming from the TB side...

I did have rotor plate bearings go bad. Need new rotors in that case.. And last night I decided I am rebuilding my nosedrive.
Could be either.. have any spare nosedrives?

I have no spare parts at all for these. I'll just wait and see what happens I guess, I dont want to replace the nose drive if I dont have to, it has the MPS hub on it.

Keep a sharp eye on it. Particularly temperatures. If the bearings are going, the temps will rise. In addition, if the rotor bearings are going, and get worse, the grit will wipe out the nosedrive bearings.
This is one of the reasons I'd love to have a spare M90 nosedrive here in case it'* needed at WCBF. I have spare M62 nosedrives, but need to get one rebuilt for this purpose.

This sounds like mine right now too Matt :(
I swapped the coupler last year while the stock one was fine.
I'll pull the nose apart when I do the Lim gaskets and have a look. Might need a rebuild kit?

Sounds 50% better after the SC oil change I did tonight, however, the oil was rather black after only 4000 kms of use.
Heres a vid anyway, doesnt sound exactly the same in the video
