Fuel system for when I get giggly
I have been considering getting a nitrous setup for my 1994 SLE. But before I do that I want to be sure my fuel system is up to par.
I plan on a 50-75 shot, so I am wondering if injectors from a Series I Supercharged 3800 will fit my L27 engine? If so will they flow enough for the nitrous? If not what injectors will fit and work, and where can I get them and what is the cost for them? |
I'm running a 65 dry shot and so far everything is a-ok. As for injectors I am planning on upgrading to 24lb Accel injectors over the stock 19lb injectors. Jeffrey can fill in on the exact part number.

Why does it say this topic was "moved'? If so where to? I have looked all over and can't find it any of the other section's.

To piss you off Hector, why else?
LOL j/k  Jeffrey convinced me, yell at him. |
Well there is no reason for you to switch it out, if you run a 75 shot you are nearing the 100% duty cycle of the stock 19lb injectors. There is no need to go higher, and if you do go higher than 75 shot, all you can do is pray it stay's together. Sometimes you guys scare the crap out of me.

I can only go up to 75 shot jets so I guess that rules all that out. But keep my engine from falling apart?... That may be unstoppable.
|
So a 50 shot would be a reasonably sized shot of dry juice using the stock Series I N/A injector's without having to worry too much about obliterating my pistons, heads, valves, etc..? That is given the fuel system is in tip-top stock condition?
