Superchargers don't generally ever have to be replaced. They're easily rebuilt. Can you tell us your symptoms? There'* a good link in "links" at the top of the page for SC'* in Canada. Probably the best we have, but that'* a drastic step.

It makes a rattling noise when the car is idling. The mechanic that looked like it said the berrings in it were shot or something. Also the previous owners didn't know you had to put oil in the SC itself so yeah. We just filled the SC with oil so it wouldn't get any worse until I can come up with the funds to do something about it.

It may only be a $30 coupler. Even if it needs new nosedrive bearings, you can do that yourself. Parts are readily available.
I'd love to know how much slop and in which direction you currently observe.
Do this:
1. Remove SC belt.
2. Turn the pulley back and forth in the normal direction of rotation. How much slop? How far does it move in each direction before it 'catches'? Can you hear it rattle if you do this rapidly?
3. Move the pulley up and down, side to side. Firm? Or sloppy?
I'd love to know how much slop and in which direction you currently observe.

Not a clue on the oil, the mechanic that worked on the car for years did that. Also can you define slop and the general movements of the tests you want me to do please? I'm new at this and don't really understand that. Thanks.

It would be in your best interests to verify what type of oil. I'm glad Boosty brought it up.
On the rest:
Grab the pulley (with the belt off) and spin it back and forth just like the belt would. You'll 'feel' the slop and rattle (looseness) if your coupler is bad.
Now grab the pulley and pull UP like you're trying to lift the SC from the car, and down, and left and right to check for the bearings. It should be firm. I don't expect any wear on yours.
