supercharger sound like it has issues
ok so i know i have a vacuum on the back side of my motor but in trying to find that i noticed my supercharger sounds like it has marles in it. is this normal? haven't really heard it before so not really sure if it is normal any help would be greatly appreciated.

Is it vital to fix this? Is it a precurser to something breaking? It seems to only make that sound at idle. Car runs great besides the annoying noise when I'm stopped.
Actually it goes away when I give it the slightest gas. I was wondering if maybe the idle was set too low.

Over time the coupler will become more and more damaged. It'* also making a lot of noise that the knock sensors can pick up. It is something that can be put off for a while, but don't just let it go.

Hey Danthurs........It might be a good idea on your "change supercharge coupler" thread to warn those with 95 and ealier, the whole supercharger has to come out. If i had known all that, i might not have tried to attempt this myself.
