I know for sure it will work with an M90, and it gave significant gains as it says. It may also work with the M62, but I'm not sure. Its definately a very cheap alternative to upgrading to an MP112!

Damnnnn!!!!!!!!!!!!
That is a great idea, m112 for less than 1000 dollars. Thats awesome. I think that can push us to the next level with the 3800 in general.

I'd like to see the answer to the nosedrive length problem, but I do know there are other lengths that can be swapped onto all the Eaton blowers. The final cash tally may be expensive still, but this would prevent the need for a custom lower intake.

The rotors are 3" longer but the M112 snout is 2 1/2" shorter so what is needed is a specially machined 1/2" offset pulley. Now just try and find one of those. :?
...but I suppose it is another opportunity for our vendors to step in.....
hmmm...M112 rotors, snout, spacer and offset pulley...for about $500. How much hp gain?

As for the horsepower gain, it should be huge. Almost as much as switching to an MP112. If you keep the same pulley size, it should make the same amount of heat, and flow a LOT more air. Its kind of like an intercooler, allowing you to run more boost without more heat, so you should expect it to have similar gains. Just look on INTENSE'* site for the description of the MP112 kit, and it should tell you what you should expect. The gains are pretty crazy. I think this would put Zooomer WELL into the 10'* (if he were to run it, which he mostlikely won't), and would put our GTP into the 11'* without doing any of the tranny work that we are gonna do.
If someone could develop a kit for sale for it, I believe it would be a VERY popular mod. (hint hint Intense or ZZP)

The heat generated by the mechanical forces of the SC spin rate aren't the only concern in the heat department. Compressing the air is a heat generator itself. I'd really like to see this on a car, though.

Would also need a modified alternator mount.
If the gains are like at least 25 hp then it'll be worth it.

Modifying the alternator to fit would not be a problem. I didn't think about that, but now that I think about how close the blower is the alternator, I wouldn't doubt it. Its still a LOT cheaper and easier than an MP112 conversion.
The gains would almost HAVE to be 25hp. If you look at the flow charts, the M112 modified M90 flows like 1/3 better than the ZZP Stage 1 M90. That is a very large gain. If the blower can move 1/3 more air, THATS A LOT OF POWER!
