Default Questions on 2.0 and 2.2 pullies for S1 L67

I saw pulleyboys has a 2.0 pulley available. Anyone tried it? Pro'*/con'*? My plan is to get some normal scheduled maintenance out of the way first, then it'* on to the mods. I plan on new NGK TR-55 plugs, new stock wires, Custom made CAI, 180º drilled t-stat, and then on to the pulley. But which one do I choose? What kind of HP gains from each could a person expect?I understand the new idler pulley is necessary for using the 2.2" pulley, but will this work for the 2.0?

Thanks for your input.

I wouldn't go smaller than 2.2". Smaller would cause power loss due to high intake temps. Use the ZZP tensioner pulley. And I like my NGK TR-6 plugs, they are a range cooler than the TR-55'*.

I agree. The ONLY way I would even consider a 2" pulley (even with my mods) is if I was still running water injection.....full time.

2.2", stock belt, zzp oversized idler......this idler is a requirement, not a suggestion.

Moving to forced induction.

I can't seem to find the idler anywhere on ZZP'* site. Can someone tell me what to search for or where it is. Thanks.

Hold up a second boys, DJ SHO you have a 95 ssei, so you dont want to put on the 2.2" pulley, it will generate WAY too much heat without major mods, go with the 2.5", quite a few members use this size on their 94-95 ssei'* and have great results. I have a 95 ssei too, but I'm not far enough along for my pulley swap yet. Let us know how it goes.

Oh, good call! A stock 92/93 pulley is a good performance pulley for the 95.

My goof. Didn't notice that. (not sure he had 95 in his sig when he posted that)

2.2" minimum on a 92/93
2.5" minimum on a 94/95

Hey thanks for the input guys. But two questions now. Why the difference in pulley sizes from 93'* to 94'*? Aren't both running series 1 motors? The other question is, will I still be capable of acheiving 25-30hp and at least 40 tq with the 2.5 pulley and the CAI (instead of using the 2.2")?
