on the SC coupler change....

you dont have to remove the SC to pull the nose on the S2

remove the oil with a spray bottle
swing the alternator out of the way
remove the 10mm bolts that hold the Nose to the SC
and also dont forget to get the 10mm bolt that goes straight down into the LIM
after that the nose will come off

replace coupler, reinstall the nose with red gasket maker and then fill with 2 bottles of SC oil

you NEED to get the GM RED gasket maker or Permatex when you put the Nose back onto the SC...

Go to a dealer and ask for "red gasket maker", they'll give you the magic red tube.

Permatex was not recommended. And I did try it. The SC oil was eating through it. Red gasket maker is the right stuff for the job.
