Default Superchargers?

Will a sc from a 1998 seriesII work on a 94 3.8(non sc)?
If so how difficult would it be to install?

Impossible....Completely different engines. Internals are different....heads, intake.

It'* not "impossible"..... ... well... in a word... it'* impratical.

It would probably be cheaper (and certainly easier) to swap the entire engine.... even if someone gave you the SC for free, and you had to pay for the other engine w/ SC.

Yes it is possible but it would probably be out of the range of the average DIYourselfer...we will be doing this for our 90 LN3 the info I have so far is posted here near the bottom of pg 1
http://www.bonnevilleclub.com/forum/...ic.php?t=33178
if you have decent mechanical ability and can have someone machine the intake spacers etc you could do it...

but if you have the ability to pull the engine and rewire/replace it with an L67 you may be able to do this.
we will be doing this this winter when the rear engine will be getting turbocharged on our twin engine 94 Olds Cutlass 442.

regards, James

You'd have to fabricate an entirely new lower intake, and redo much of the engine to handle the boost.
